You’ll feel at home from the start, soak up the energy, and hardly notice how seamlessly the day flows. That’s what the Youmeet Curaçao team is there for. Nathaly, Jasper, and Nova, three different types of people, with the same obsession with hospitality and a talent for organization.
Do you have any questions or special requests for our team? Feel free to contact us.
Nathaly.
Calm, warm and full of conviction. Born and raised in Curaçao, and proud that Youmeet now has a home here. Nathaly helps organizations plan their meetings, sessions and events professionally and with care. It’s something completely different from what she used to do, but her experience as a retail manager comes in handy. There she learned how important it is to set goals and achieve results. Now she brings that knowledge to life in a new way at Youmeet Curaçao.
Why did Youmeet have to come to Curaçao?
“Curaçao is bursting with creativity and entrepreneurship. That is exactly what Youmeet stands for. We want to strengthen that energy, with spaces where meeting, collaborating and growing come naturally. We work with speakers, coaches and event professionals who share the same passion. And all of it in a beautiful historic building in Scharloo. I’m grateful we get to contribute to this creative hub in Willemstad.”
You have a different background. What inspires you to take on this new challenge now?
“My husband Vincent passed away in 2021. For him, building bridges was central, connecting people and exploring different perspectives. It was his wish to start Youmeet Curaçao. With this place, I want to make sure his vision stays alive. Youmeet is a space where true connection comes to life.”
What do you hope guests say after their first visit?
“That they’re surprised by the atmosphere, the hospitality and the attention to detail. That they didn’t just work well, but felt inspired. That they say, ‘This is the place I want to come back to. Everything just feels right here.’”
Jasper.
Contagiously energetic and tireless. Besides being the host, also at the helm of the Youmeet Netherlands team He’s responsible for marketing, budgeting and the loudest laugh in the room. He moves easily between operational and strategic levels and likes to mix serious matters with humor whenever possible. Jasper adapts effortlessly to any situation, listens well and, with his boundless drive, ensures that every meeting or event runs smoothly.
“Unmatched service,” they all say. Convince me!
“Okay, here’s a recent one. This morning we had an adapter delivered by courier to a guest who forgot it here yesterday. That is pretty unmatched service, right? Convinced?”
Which quality of one of your colleagues would you like to have?
“A bit of the structure Nathaly and Nova work with is something I could definitely use, haha.”
Tell me, what’s the deal with those mega cookies I keep seeing pop up regularly at Youmeet Netherlands?
“Haha, yes—those are our well-known oatmeal cookies. They’re huge and incredibly delicious. They’ve been a hit since the very beginning of Youmeet; I’m honestly not joking when I say guests come back for them or even call afterward to ask where we get those tasty cookies from. And there are genuinely people who don’t eat breakfast before coming to us, so they can have a Youmeet cookie! I’m sure we’ll find a similar hit for Youmeet Curaçao that people will come back for too, haha.”
Nova.
Always on the move and full of ideas — that’s the best way to describe Nova. With experience in hospitality, healthcare, and tourism, she brings a unique mix of people skills, energy, and organizational talent. She thinks ahead, takes initiative, and knows how to connect people. During her internship at Youmeet Curaçao, she puts these strengths to work in event facilitation and marketing. Her eye for detail, sense of atmosphere, and enthusiasm ensure that every event is delivered professionally and with care.
Why did you choose to do an internship at Youmeet Curaçao? And what do you hope to learn here?
“My choice for an internship at Youmeet Curaçao comes from my passion for organizing, hospitality, and creativity. The dynamic environment of a meeting and event venue fits perfectly with my energetic, eager-to-learn character. I’m keen to learn how professional events are organized from start to finish, and how marketing and experience reinforce each other. During my internship, I want to further develop my organizational and communication skills and gain more insight into how to create a strong brand experience within an inspiring work environment in Curaçao.”
What’s your superpower on busy days?
“My superpower on busy days is that I always stay calm. Even when the pace picks up, I remain composed and keep a clear overview. That way I can keep working effectively and maintain a positive atmosphere—especially when things get extra busy. Chaos around me? Then I just shift up a gear and keep going with a smile.”
You have a strong affinity for marketing and social media. Where do you get your inspiration from?
“During my studies, I learned a lot about marketing and social media, which means I have a solid understanding of how to build a brand and reach a target audience. I get inspiration from other brands and creators: while scrolling, I pay attention to their pages, campaigns, and feeds and look at what works well. Trends and everyday situations also inspire me, helping me come up with creative and original ideas that resonate with the target audience. In short: give me a scroll moment and I’ll come back with fresh ideas, haha.”
